L’Oreal Seafleur & Evangeline’s Red Colour Riche Review

I LOVE L’Oreal products and have since 1987 when I was in high school.  I have been a professional makeup artist for almost 20 years now, and L’Oreal is still one of the best makeup lines around, and is always in my kit.

Thanks to a great deal on L’Oreal at CVS (see my post) I picked up an old favorite and a new favorite.  My old favorite is Seafleur, an irridescent pink/purple/red blend.  Actually, Seafleur is the first L’Oreal product I ever purchased.  Back in the mid ’80’s when Fashion Fairs Chocolate Raspberry lipstick was all the rage, the lower expensive option for high school students were L’Oreal Seafleur and Wet n’ Wild #521.

One of the things I like most about L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipsticks besides the color is that it is really moisturizing and doesn’t dry lips out.  Seafleur is great for using alone, or layer over a nice red lip stain for a bit of pop!  As a matter of fact, it looks fantastic on top of the NYC Lipstain.

My “new”find was Evangeline’s Red.  A gorgeous blue based red color.  It has a perfect balance and is a must have red regardless if the skin tone is pale or really dark.  Evangeline’s Red is definitely a new permanent addition to my kit.
